Before marathon runners step up to the starting line, they train and prepare for months, sometimes years, to ensure they are ready. The same goes for a political candidate deciding to run for office. Running for office is a marathon, not a sprint! However, many women count themselves out before they even start training because they do not know where to begin. She Should Run surveyed 1,000 women across the United States and found that more than 60% are not even considering a run for office, now or in the future. 79% of women who responded to our survey said they knew some to nothing about common public offices! In this webinar, we will start with the basics.

If you have ever thought about running for office but stopped yourself from exploring further because you didn’t know where to start, then this webinar is for you. In this webinar, learn how you can channel your personal story to create a brighter future for generations to come. You don’t need to be political or even know anything about politics to make a difference. This webinar was moderated by She Should Run Programs Director, Mishon Montgomery, and we were joined by Stoughton, Massachusetts Selectperson Debra Roberts.
