YooJin Lim

Program Intern

YooJin Lim is the Program Intern for She Should Run. She is a rising junior at the University of Chicago double majoring in Political Science and Business Economics. Her passion lies in making a meaningful social impact through policy initiatives and empowering people, especially the marginalized groups. Prior to She Should Run, YooJin worked as a researcher for a student run think tank where she partnered up with a local client to help promote racial justice via electoral reform. She also worked as a research assistant for Chicago Project on Security Threat, where she built a threat matrix to gauge the degree of political violence in the US.

In her free time, YooJin enjoys spending her time outdoors, lifting, hiking, and running. She was born and raised in South Korea but spent her teenage years in Oregon, California, and Chicago. She is excited to explore other cities around the globe and find more places that she could call home.
