Regional Cohorts

The She Should Run Incubator is our online, flagship program designed to help women from all backgrounds and across the political spectrum envision themselves in public leadership. The Incubator’s unique approach focuses our members on why they want to run and the impact they’ll make in elected office. Through our courses on cultivating leadership, building networks, and fostering communication skills, along with a supportive community, women are given the tools they need to begin carving their own unique path to public office.

Regional Cohorts are composed of in-person and virtual sessions. Each session is carefully curated with activities and discussion focused on cultivating leadership, building networks, and fostering communication skills. Regional Cohort participants learn from campaign experts and elected officials who give an inside look into life on the campaign trail.

Chicago Cohort, 2017

In 2017, She Should Run decided to take the Incubator to the Windy City our first Regional Cohort. By the end of our Chicago Cohort, participants walked away with concrete action steps towards their future run for office (some are running now!) and lifelong connections with women all around Chicago who are planning their own runs for office.

“One of the best things about [Chicago Cohort] was who I met. These women are amazing. I have lifelong friends and colleagues. I love how this course taught me how to think about me and my leadership style and my plans. Mentally and emotionally, it was priceless and I wish it wouldn’t end.”
